Deja Vu all over again

The more things change, the more they stay the same. The NY Yankees in the post season, politicians making promises, threats of a harsh winter, and the leaves are turning color again. Did you ever get the feeling that you have lived the same day more than once. You woke up the same exact time, said the same exact things in the same order? You would think being a billionaire would decrease the ennui that is life, but even Bill Gates has said, even with all the money he has, there is only so much you can do. Hard to imagine running out of things to do. It’s a small world after all. Disney, now there is a repetitive monster if I ever saw one. Don’t get me started.

Just once I would like to wake up and have something completely different happen. Maybe discover I am a woman all of a sudden. That would be a long shower (ahem). Or maybe an oppressed black man living in Kansas. I don’t know. It would be nice to experience some other side of life.

I don’t have enough wealth to be able to do whatever I want, so for now I will live this one lane highway lifestyle. The truth is, as I get older it gets easier to accept things that remain the same. I guess when I get really old I will thank God for that everyday.

Oh well, Happy Monday everyone. Now where have I heard that before? Oh, I know, I said it last week.
